ACA Group CEO Ahmet Acaroğulları Participates in Panel on the Digital Transformation of Vocational Education at Balıkesir University

Ahmet Acaroğulları, CEO and Chairman of the Board of ACA Group, participated as a speaker in the panel titled “The Digital Transformation Process in Vocational Education,” held as part of the Forum on Current Approaches in Vocational Education at Balıkesir University.

ACA Group CEO Ahmet Acaroğulları participated in the Forum on Current Approaches in Vocational Education at Balıkesir University together with Mehmet Şafak, Provincial Director of Industry and Technology of Balıkesir; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun; and Prof. Dr. Fatih Satıl, Vice Rector of Balıkesir University.

Bringing together representatives from the public sector, academia, and private industry, the forum focused on the future of vocational education, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and the impact of emerging technologies on the business world. As part of the event, Deputy Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Osman Boyraz delivered a presentation titled “Transportation Vision in the Century of Türkiye, 🔗 ” where he shared insights on Türkiye’s transportation goals and strategic infrastructure projects.

During the Forum on Current Approaches in Vocational Education at Balıkesir University, Ahmet Acaroğulları joined Mehmet Şafak, Provincial Director of Industry and Technology of Balıkesir, and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Fatmagül Tolun, Director of Balıkesir University Vocational School and Coordinator of the Balıkesir Technology Transfer Office, as a speaker in the panel discussion.

During the panel, Ahmet Acaroğulları emphasized that digital transformation is no longer a topic relevant only to technology companies, but a strategic priority across all industries. He noted that vocational education must evolve in line with this transformation to meet the changing demands of the workforce. Highlighting the growing impact of artificial intelligence, data-driven systems, and digital technologies on business operations, Acaroğulları stressed the importance of equipping future professionals with digital competencies alongside technical skills.


Acaroğulları also highlighted the importance of university–industry collaboration, noting that the corporate management systems, occupational health and safety technologies, AI-powered solutions, and digital transformation applications developed within ACA Group are shaped by real-world industry needs. He emphasized that combining theoretical knowledge with practical experience plays a crucial role in helping students adapt more effectively to professional life after graduation.


The panel attracted significant interest from academics, students, and industry professionals, fostering discussions on the future of vocational education, the impact of digitalization on the business world, artificial intelligence applications, and the professions of the future.
